Acceptable Use Policy

Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the usage of hosting, cloud infrastructure, development, managed IT, email, and related services provided by Mr. HiTech.

All customers, resellers, affiliates, and users must use services responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws, operational guidelines, and network usage standards.

Violation of this policy may result in account suspension, service restrictions, investigation, or permanent termination without prior notice.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on Mr. HiTech infrastructure, servers, networks, and services:

• Phishing websites and fraudulent activities
• Malware, ransomware, viruses, trojans, and malicious scripts
• Spam, bulk unsolicited emailing, and mail abuse
• Port scanning, brute force attacks, and network probing
• IRC servers, proxy services, bots, and spam software
• Torrent hosting, peer-to-peer sharing, and illegal downloads
• Pirated software, warez, copyrighted material infringement
• Adult, obscene, illegal, or offensive content
• Lottery, gambling, ponzi, or fraudulent schemes
• Hosting malicious redirects or deceptive websites
• Unauthorized cryptocurrency mining activities
• Unauthorized access attempts against any network or system

Resource Usage Policy

Shared hosting and reseller environments are designed for normal website and business application usage only.

Activities resulting in excessive CPU usage, memory consumption, bandwidth usage, inode generation, database load, email abuse, or network resource exhaustion are prohibited.

• High CPU or RAM consumption affecting server stability
• Excessive inode creation or large file storage
• Backup dumping or using hosting as storage space
• Large archive hosting and file-sharing activities
• Excessive database queries or abusive cron jobs
• Email storage abuse and bulk mailing activities
• Bandwidth abuse or traffic spikes affecting infrastructure

Email & Anti-Spam Policy

Sending unsolicited bulk email (“spam”) using our services, infrastructure, or third-party services referencing our network is strictly prohibited.

• Bulk unsolicited commercial email
• Open mail relays or spam software hosting
• Email bombing or mass mailing abuse
• Mail harvesting scripts and abusive mailing tools
• Excessive outbound email activity

Accounts involved in spam activity may be suspended immediately without prior notice.

Security & Network Abuse

Customers may not attempt to compromise the security, integrity, or availability of systems, networks, servers, applications, or services.

• DDoS attacks or malicious traffic generation
• Unauthorized vulnerability scanning or exploitation
• Attempted unauthorized access to systems or networks
• Interference with services or infrastructure operations
• Distribution of malicious software or infected files

Content Policy

Customers are solely responsible for all hosted content, websites, applications, databases, emails, and files stored or transmitted through services.

Illegal, abusive, infringing, defamatory, fraudulent, or prohibited content may result in immediate account action.

Backup & Data Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for maintaining backups of websites, applications, databases, emails, and business data.

Mr. HiTech shall not be responsible for data loss, corruption, deletion, ransomware incidents, or service interruptions.

Reseller Responsibility

Resellers are fully responsible for the activities, security, support, content, and operational management of all accounts hosted under their reseller services.

Monitoring & Enforcement

Mr. HiTech reserves the right to investigate suspected policy violations and take necessary actions including:

• Account suspension or termination
• Traffic filtering or access restrictions
• Service limitations or upgrade requirements
• Content removal or abuse mitigation
• Reporting unlawful activities to authorities

Third-Party Services

Certain services may rely on third-party providers, registrars, payment gateways, cloud vendors, software vendors, or infrastructure partners.

Customers must also comply with any applicable third-party operational policies and legal requirements.

Policy Updates

Mr. HiTech reserves the right to modify or update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time without prior notice.
